Take Back Control of Project Management with Construction Pro Manager

Upon closer examination of the existing software for construction project management, Andrew Arena discovered that not only were most of them too complex, but also they tended to take too many of a project's functions from the manager. Construction may be a hands-on industry, but the manager must have the freedom to think intuitively, to apply his or her experience and to be the primary decision maker, not a software program.

Because software engineers working for software companies designed the existing construction project software products - and had no firsthand construction experience - they created and marketed products for a broad clientele. Not only were they trying to provide software that would serve the smallest and largest construction companies and projects, but also sectors beyond commercial and residential construction, including municipalities and architects.

To serve their sales and marketing goals, software companies were creating products for virtually every need of a construction company or project manager.

The problem was that these tools were so comprehensive that the costs were prohibitive to many smaller and medium-sized firms; they required extensive training; and the user interface could be confusing and time-consuming.

As helpful as many of these tools may be for project managers, Andrew determined that they didn't have an easy-to-use and affordable document control software. He also discovered that the available software for this function wasn't designed in a manner that project managers truly needed. Often, project documents are organized under a single project name, and then compiled under specifically named project logs. The documents are listed in chronological order and individual users of the software name the documents manually, with all information stored in that particular file. Without the right kind of document organization and common file names, stored documents take longer to find, which results in less efficient project management and user frustration.

Construction Pro Manager's proprietary CLS-Contractor Linked System and its 40 document control logs not only gives project managers the tool they've needed in an easy-to-use format, but also gives them back control of their projects. Now, they're doing the thinking, not the software.

Organize, Control and Retrieve Project Documents Quickly, Easily and at a Lower Cost with Construction Pro Manager

For Construction Pro Manager to be the software that project managers actually needed, it had to be designed and organized according to the reality of the work site and project managers and contractors' tasks. That's why Andrew Arena created a organizational structure known as CLS-Contractor Linked System.

It includes three major categories of construction document storage, and specific secondary categories within each of those major categories. This organizational method is very familiar to project managers and contractors and ensures documents are filed where anyone can easily find them without the many hours of training most other software products for the industry require. The CLS-Contractor Linked System is based on what project managers and contractors already know intuitively, so there is no need to learn an entirely new system or way of thinking. The CLS-Contractor Linked System provides you with immediate access to the most essential construction-based logs for better document control and organization.
